Ice on the Landing extended through Feb. 1

Chattanoogans will be able to enjoy the outdoor skating rink at Ross’s Landing for another month.

According to their website, organizers with Chattanooga Presents said Ice on the Landing will be extended through Feb. 1.

Originally, the attraction was set to close Jan. 4.

New hours of operation will begin Jan. 8, with the rink open 3 to 9 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and 2 to 11 p.m. Thursday and Friday. Weekend hours are Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 12 to 9 p.m.

The rink—sponsored by Volkswagen—is a 50-by-70-foot open-air facility with a focus on general skating for the public, special themes, appearances and a rotating schedule to benefit local nonprofit groups.

Tickets are $10 per person, which includes skating rentals.
