Families in need in Chattanooga are not without a helping hand up they need it most. The Family Promise model is unique among agencies providing shelter for families in need because it does not subscribe to institutionalized shelters as a solution. Family Promise of Greater Chattanooga strives to keep families together.

We believe in the fundamental power and strength of the family unit, and serve all family configurations, including two segments that have been under-served over the years: two-parent families with children and adolescents, and single fathers with children and adolescents. We also serve single mothers with children and adolescents, pregnant women and custodial parents with children and adolescents.
